Turkey Day Plans

Hey Jef and I have been talking and wondering what everybodies plans are for Turkey day weekend. Jef might have to work on Friday but is not sure so he wanted to know what everybody had going on and where they will be. He might be able to request a later shift (big maybe) so we could visit longer so let us know what everybody has planned.

Also I just had a great idea lets plan who is bringing what for food here so we all know the menu and options. Just an idea though.

Dad will do the turkey, potatoes and gravy; Mary offered to do the stuffing; I will do rolls, cheesecake, strawberry jello salad,and turkey sugar cookies; For snacks items, we will do salsa and scoops and cheeseballs and crackers; For the kids' activities, I need the grandkids(minus the babies) to bring a wrapped gift that would work for boy or girl for the gift passing game; those wanting to play broom hockey, need to bring a broom; As for schedules, Friday, Dad and I have a wedding at noon and reception that evening; Saturday is pretty well out for us, as we have morning weddings, two ball games after to announce; and then two wedding receptions that evening; Sunday for whomever is still here and would like to come, we can all have dinner here;

We will be down on Tuesday the 25 and will be there through Monday the 1st. I will make a cabbage salad and bring activities for the kids (color sheets, sticker activities, pin the tail on the turkey game). Let me know what else I can bring food wise once the menu is planned.

I forgot to add that we have a baptism on Saturday in Filer that we will be at all day, but nothing planned for Friday yet.

Jeremy and Sarah do not have internet at their house, so wanted me to post for them: they are bringing pumpkin and lemon merangue pies; cheddar cheeseball and crackers; olives and baby carrots; they are coming Thursday morning and leaving Saturday evening.

NOTE: This IS the planning site, so keep up with all the posts and you all can decide what else you want to bring to contribute because no assignments are going to be made. If you like certain things that aren't mentioned, post it and bring them. It's going to be fun!!!! May I request guitar hero and rock band, or does that go without saying??????

Forget to mention we will do beans and corn, too.

there was talk once of Dad having access to a projector.... Is that an option? And to confirm, Rockband and Guitar Hero will be there.

I do have access to a projector but alas, my laptop doesnt connect to it anymore. (which is ok, since the dvd drive doesnt read dvds either!)
