Labor Day Memories

I miss Boise and this is just one of the many reasons why!

This is the year we started our annual tradition of going to the Bruneau Sand Dunes for a Labor Day picnic.  Ahh those were the times.  If I remember right I worked that morning and we left as soon as I was done and Uncle Ryan drove with us!

Baby pictures

Here are the pictures I had at my last ultrasound on July 8.

We still don't know the gender yet, but at this point, I'm willing to wait.............................OK, not really!

It is finished!

The stucco is all done! The color is called caramel candy and our fun neighbor, Andrea, said it was very rich looking, just like suede! We are happy with it. Now comes the hard, yet fun part for us...sanding and painting doors, rebuilding steps, and deck. Anyone and everyone is invited and welcome to come help!

They have all the "mud" work done and now it's ready for the stucco!

Progress on the house

Here are a few pics I took with my phone of the progress on the house. Thanks to all the wonderful 5th ward young men and their leaders for taking all the boards off. We hope to see stucco this week!

I Hate Goodbyes!

Ok so, having thought about this and trying to plan a set date in vain, Bailey and I have decided to just take a vote as to when to hold (or not to hold I guess) a kind of goodbye party for us before we move.
Make your voices heard to to when, where, and what or forever hold your peace.
I understand that it probably isn't possible to find a date that accommodates everyone, but we really want to try. We were thinking of July 9th, but that doesn't look like it is going to work anymore (sorry to anyone this inconveniences).
But, just let us know. We are up for anything, with enough notice.

Three Little Kittens

We have three little kittens now and they are so cute!

New Mama Kitty and baby

Well, this is a picture of a mama kitty that has been coming around and eating with Stormy, she had babies sometime in the last few weeks. Collette caught this pic under the bush with one of the new kitties. We don't know how many there are yet, but they go under the deck with the mama, so....good times ahead??!!??!!

Pineal Gland

So here it is, the Pineal Gland.  Just so you know where it is.  I have a tiny tumor on this.

Great news!

Collette auditioned last evening in Boise in the Concerto Aria competition to sing with the Symphony Orchestra. She was among 25 very accomplished performers of which they chose six. She was chosen and we are so proud of her accomplishment! Congrats, Collette, you are an amazing talent. I love it that you are developing and sharing this wonderful gift the Lord has blessed you with and doing what He has in store for you. Best of luck in this exciting opportunity. YOUR FAMILY LOVES YOU!

Another MRI

FYI another MRI on the books for me.  Will get results next week. 

Philadelphia Here we Come!

So we heard back today and I have been accepted to the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, we will be moving to Philly for 4 years in August! Thank you for all of your prayers and thoughts. And we are pretty freakin excited!!!!!!

Yellowstone here come the Clark's.

Ok we are officially locked into a campground near the West Entrance of Yellowstone.  So excited. 

News Years Update

So it's been a while since ANYONE has posted on the family blog. I am still awaiting word on Chad's schooling, as I'm sure he is also. I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years. We missed seeing everyone over the holidays, but are looking forward to the upcoming camping trip scheduled for June. For those that can't make it, you will be missed.

Also, I failed to recognize (although I didn't realize I was the official recognizer) Bailey and Avery's birthdays. So.....
